Analysis: Gimenez is still expected to be on the bench for Uruguay's initial World Cup match against Saudi Arabia, but he'll have a significant chance to regain his starting spot in the subsequent meeting with Cape Verde. Meanwhile, Sebastian Caceres could get an opportunity alongside Mathias Olivera at center-back.
