Joins Lyon on five-year deal

Boudache signed with Olympique Lyonnais from Nice on a five-year contract through June 2031, the club announced.

Analysis: Boudache emerged as one of the more exciting young talents in Ligue 1 during the second half of the season, making 19 appearances and scoring three goals after being handed his professional debut in a Europa League match against Go Ahead Eagles in January. The 20-year-old left winger scored his first goal against Montpellier in the Coupe de France round of 16 before delivering a series of convincing performances, including a crucial strike in the Ligue 1 promotion playoff second leg against Saint-Etienne that contributed to Nice's top-flight survival. The Gard-born winger came through the Nice academy after joining in 2022 and also represented Algeria at under-23 level, as well as featuring in the 2026 Coupe de France final. His pace, directness and dribbling ability make him one of the more exciting wide options Lyon have brought in, with the club identifying him as a key part of their long-term project heading into next season.
